院校簡介

中央外國語大學(xué)是印度第一任總理Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru創(chuàng)建的。曾用名CIE。1958年成立于海得拉巴，是一所專門培訓(xùn)教師的英語學(xué)院。1972年4月，學(xué)院拓寬了教學(xué)范圍，增加了其他外國語言的教學(xué)。并且更名為中央英語與外國語學(xué)院。1973年7月，大學(xué)正式更名后，由于其出色的教學(xué)水準(zhǔn)，被印度UGC評(píng)為值得信任的大學(xué)。目前大學(xué)擁有三個(gè)校區(qū)，主校區(qū)位于海得拉巴。英語與外國語大學(xué)為印度唯一的專業(yè)的外國語教學(xué)機(jī)構(gòu)，相當(dāng)于中國的北京外國語大學(xué)。
